My blog died. So many things have happened during the past few months.

Life changing events...

I am not sure if I prefer this life but it definitely got me off my mind when I felt so bad about the breakup. However, no matter how awesome single life can get, when night falls, one will still yearn for company. Perhaps a hug or so.

Ambivalent about this because at the same time, I do not wish to be in a relationship.

Guess it's just not the time yet.

A levels is coming to an end soon.

My life is going to start afresh.

Somehow, leaving the JC path makes me feel like I'm no longer going on that old-so-traditional education path and now my future lies in my hands.

Choosing the university course will therefore determine my fate.

I am not particularly confident about my A level results and scoring all As is a little far fetched.

I am not strongly against the idea of studying overseas, but it just feels so sad.

I don't want to leave my boyfriend, my mum and everyone else.

US or UK?

I was thinking about it these few days.

My obsession with How I Met Your Mother made me want to go New York so bad.

Despite bearing an unusual inclination towards Europe, I am ambivalent about where I should go.

Both are equally far(US further but yeah, also far)...

Ah well, let's just see how it goes.

I really do hope I can get a place in the local university since I already consider Singapore my home.

Lucky him get to end in the morning while I struggle with H2 CSC in the afternoon.

This examination determines my future, both short and long run. If I do score well, I can study in a local University (NUS,NTU,SMU). If not, I would have to go overseas.. for 3 years or more. Though I have always been wanting to have a go on the education system in UK, but after second thoughts... I guess I'd prefer to stay in Singapore where I feel.. is where I belong.

Adding on, at least I would get to meet B every weekend when he books out. Being such a demanding girlfriend, I don't think I would be able to stand long distance relationships! THEN I CAN'T STICK TO HIM ALL THE TIME! :(

CVD was not as bad as I thought.
Everything went on quite smoothly I guess.
Let's hope this week of school can be much more productive than the one before.
and cross my fingers for me not to doze off during lessons whatsoever.
I am so glad that I am beginning to find back my time and the pace which I used to have.
Thank you tutors for constantly showing your concerns for me, especially the chinese department ones.

This week of school is living hell, I swear.
Yesterday's NAPFA run did cheered me up a little as I got a B! (:
Aiming for a A but oh well, a B is not that bad already!
3rd time emceeing, this time for our Talent Time J1 Preliminary Round.
Hmm, what can I say?
Since anything coming out from me will not be positive,
I shall leave it till the whole competition ends before making my comments about how the J1s fare against the J2s.
However, a general remark to all the J1s, not only the ones in talent time..

I think RESPECT is still important.
Our age may have only a gap of 1 or 2 years, but we are still seniors in the school.
WE DESERVE THE RESPECT, WE SERIOUSLY DO.
It might not have to be speaking to us like as if we are teachers, speaking like a friend is perfectly fine.
Just bear that in mind we have spent a year more than you here.
We should learn from one another and not learn to hate.
I'm glad my OG and CTG people are so far the best J1s I have met.
Being an OGL, I am so proud of them.
OG10 and CTG130 FTW!

Only after the orientation, I was being able to see the rest of the cohort much clearer.
I wish it was me who is expecting too much,
else I fret for our new cohort next year.

Anyway,
School is shit this week.

MIA for a long time.

I am pretty lazy to blog about Orientation except
I LOVE IT Oo Oo. HAHA.
Every fun thing makes me feel like going back to J1 again.
Jam and Hop was the greatest thing ever, comparatively better than the last year's.
I got so high that I ran around taking pictures with some hi-bye friends.

CTG 130 is the best! They bought a box of ferrero for each of us, Marveen, Clarence and I.

Hope all of them enjoyed our company for the past 5 days.

People often ask me if I ever regret being an OGL,
the answer is no.
Yes, the school work now is a crazy load.
However I benefitted and gained experience which I could not have gotten anywhere else.
For example public speaking skills.. starting by talking to a class, a house cohort, J1 cohort.
It is definitely a platform for me to practice for my emceeing on Friday and my career in the future.
:D

Best of all..
I got lots of new friends. You are even talking to people whom you walk past everyday in school in the past.
The feeling is ULTRA GOOD.
At least there will be less of the i-look-at-you-you-look-at-me-then-we-look-away incidents.

I will miss everything, everyone.
Especially working with my fellow Canberrans, OG and CTG.

YJC Orientation 2010 was AWESOMEEEEEE!
It is only day 2 but I am already getting so high and enjoying myself.
WOOHOO.
Get to meet lots of new people, yeap, my lovely OG juniors.
Not forgetting random OGLs whom I met in school but haven't had a chance to speak to.
YJ BANJA is the greatest thing ever, I swear. :D
It's like you don't even have to care whether you are unglam or not and who the hell is the person next to you whose putting their hand on your shoulder.

Adding on, is the satisfaction upon seeing your OG being so bonded and able to lead themselves into each stations without our help.

Today had a SUPER DUPER tiring day.
OGL from early morning till noon.
Breakfast did brighten me up a little. (:
Tried out a few telematch games made for the J1s and played a few OGL bonding games.
DAMN FUN CAN!!
Especially the mixture of all house's cheer and that captain's ball with a CHICKEN.
Our ~~gay~~goalkeeper cedric even refused to touch the chicken.

Later on we, as a house, CANBERRA, decided to join nickman and clarence for their punishment to run around the school, 12 rounds. ( they had that amount of wrong answers on the OGL test )
Though I became a walking zombie after training, it was seriously enjoyable.
I can't wait for our next training, meeting all those wonderful people again!
Not forgetting grouping with them for our OGs during orientation!

Super weird time to blog when there is school in less than 3 hours.
Chinese 'A' Levels was not that bad but I think the invigilators got quite a scare when I took the extra booklet.
Nopes, I didn't paste the barcode wrongly!

GCE Chinese 'A' Level Examinations in less than 3 hours again.
It will be the first 'A' Level paper I take.
Certainly it will be a confident boost if it is relatively manageable.
I detest all the " Jiayan, scared what, your chinese so zai. "
It is different and I know where I stand.
Taking the language paper in H2 CLL totally thrashed whichever confidence 'O' Level Chinese helped build up.
While teachers are expecting us to get either an 'A' or a 'B',
I couldn't bear to see the disappointment on their faces if we really had gotten a 'B' for H1.
The pressure.

My right hand felt numb and I kept shaking it during the exam, which made me look seriously retarded.
I shan't put high hopes and confidence on anything now, since it might just end up with another disappointment.
It is not like I haven't had enough of letdowns in this dreadful month.

H1 Maths Paper is less than 7 hours away.
I don't know how I'm feeling now.
Due to my secondary school days, I'm trained to be immune to whichever Maths results I get.
There is nothing worse than the big FAT zero I saw back in Sec 2.
I can still picture Mrs Ng standing there, showing my clean-and-clear foolscap to the class.

The 2nd China Studies Seminar finally ended.

台上十分鐘，台下十年工。

It didn't turn out that bad, I suppose.

The speakers from HCI was truly amazing.

I seemed so soft spoken at times like this.

Beijing's team mates with Zhangxuan and Jiayan.
